Pursuant to Listing Rule 704(11) of the Listing Manual Section B Rules of Catalist (“Listing Manual”) of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-ST”), the Board of Directors of Soon Lian Holdings Limited (the “Company” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) wishes to announce that Mr Tan Yee Chin, the Chairman and CEO of the Company, has been appointed as the new legal representative-designate of HLN Metal (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd and HLN Metal (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (collectively known as “PRC Subsidiaries”), two of the Group’s wholly-owned subsidiaries in the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”), on 27 December 2011 in place of Mr Wa Kok Liang. HLN Metal (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd and HLN Metal (Suzhou) Co., Ltd shall be renamed as SL Metal (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd and SL Metal (Suzhou) Co., Ltd respectively.
The Group will be filing for the registration of the change in name and legal representative of the respective PRC Subsidiaries with the relevant PRC authorities. Mr Tan Yee Chin’s appointment as the new legal representative shall take effect upon completion of the registration of the change in name and legal representative of the respective PRC subsidiaries with the relevant PRC authorities, which, barring unforeseen circumstances, is expected to take approximately 3 to 4 months.
